They called the LeMons race in Texas early Sunday afternoon due to icy weather. Everyone loaded up and got outta dodge ASAP. Then this happened:

Towing the rig home, we came across a caged miata with track tires stuck getting up a hill (Disclaimers for all people of the internet: Before you yell "Dumb Texas people can't drive in ice!!" its March and Texas. This storm was a record breaker for ice, everyone was blindsided - not just the miata driver. And he was coming back from a trackday so pipe down. And we took the picture after we got over the hill and on the shoulder (aka safety), so yes, it is angled downhill in this shot)

So we did what anyone would do; strap up from our car to his tow hook and yanked him over the hill. 4x4 tow rig....LeMons car.....Miata. Like a momma duck and her ducklings.

This was a mess yesterday - and into today. Luckily it happened on a weekend when most people didn't have to move around.

I'm in DFW. I stayed inside yesterday. Drove to work today.
It was bad north and south of DFW. It was however, a great day for my co-workers to use the old "I'm iced in" excuse.
